FISH: Woodland Lodge is located on Long Lake in Ashland County. Woodland I & II are just a 5 minute walk from Weber Lake, a class A trout lake. In addition, there are many other lakes and streams just a short drive from all cabins.
GOLF: Woodland I & II are located at Skye Golf Course, a new 18 hole golf course with spectacular mountain views. There are also 7 additional golf courses within a 40 minute drive of each cabin with great golf at exceptional prices.
ATV: ATV right from your doorstep to hundreds of miles of Iron and Ashland County trails. In addition, there are also thousands of acres of trails to explore in the adjacent Chequamagon National Forest.
SNOWMOBILE: Snowmobile right from your doorstep to hundreds of miles of Iron and Ashland County groomed trails. In addition there are also thousands of acres of trails to explore in the adjacent Chequamagon National Forest.
SKI: Ski in big snow country with over a hundred inches of snow annually. Woodland I & II are ski out chalets located at Whitecap Mountain Ski Resort, with 36 trails on one of the largest ski resorts in Wisconsin. Powderhorn Mountain and Blackjack ski resorts are within a 40 minute ride.
X COUNTRY SKI: With over 100 inches of snow annually, Woodland Lodge is located 5 minutes away from some of the most spectacular and undiscovered X country sking in the Midwest. Groomed trails for all skill levels and spectacular views await you.
HUNT: Hunt in some of the most productive and secluded areas in Wisconsin. Deer, Bear, Ruffed Grouse, Turkey, Waterfowl are available only minutes away in thousand of acres of public hunting land. Wisconsin hunting licenses and permits are required.
HIKE: Waterfalls, Waterfalls, Waterfalls. Dozens of Waterfalls within a short ride, some as close as 5 minutes away. Along with spectacular overlooks, pristine forests, and the rugged shore line of Lake Superior, the hiking couldn't be better. There are trail levels that the whole family can take, or trails that will challenge the most experienced hikers.
MOUNTAIN BIKE: Mountain bike in the Chequamagon National Forest along the trails that the famous Penokee trail ride is held. Just minutes away from Woodland Lodge.
